What is CowParade™?
 Imagine an art exhibit that can be touched, climbed on, even kissed!
Imagine the canvas...a life-sized fiberglass cow...and the art museum...a city park, plaza or sidewalk!
CowParade™ is a unique art exhibit
featuring life-sized fiberglass cows whimsically decorated as a “Rock-N-Roll" icon, a mermaid and a pink French poodle. This delightful exhibit has been successfully displayed in Chicago, Kansas City, New York, and Houston (2001—during Quilt Festival).
Future locations include Las Vegas, London, Australia, San Antonio (Nov. 2002), and Portland. CowParade™ is marching through the world and may be coming to a city near you!
At the end of the exhibit, many of the cows are
auctioned off, with a substantial portion of the proceeds going to local charities benefiting
children, arts, and education.
Replicas of the cows have been made for those of us who love to collect! These pieces are made from
ceramic and resin and are approximately 4” x 6” in size.
CowParade™ Quilt
Do you just love collections? Since we love the cows and we love to quilt and we love to collect, we decided it would be too much fun to collect the cows and design CowParade™ blocks to match. With this program you will be sent a different cow each month along with a pattern & fabric that will reflect the “style” of the cow. Traditional quilt patterns will be used for the blocks and the fabrics will reflect the personality of the cow. Included with each package will be an embroidery
design for you to label the block with the cow’s name. 
Among some of our favorites are
“Rock-N-Roll Cow”, “Mooving Flag of Texas”, “Hugs & Smooches”, “Americow the Beautiful”, and
“Moodolph”. There are many different ways to use your blocks—make a quilt with them, frame them, quilt them individually, put them in a shadow box with your cow, or display them on a quilt shelf with your quilt hung under them for a beautiful display of your herd! Join in on the fun! There is a $25 start fee with a monthly fee of only $24.95. You will get a Stitchin’ Heaven project pouch to keep your blocks in as well!
