Because we are sewing with fabric cut on the diagonal, I found that it really helped giving the fabric more body, by spraying with starch during assemble. I was using "Mary Ellen's Best Press." I can't wait until I get my next blocks! ~ Darlene
I always starch my fabrics before I cut them out and find that I am able to be more consistently correct when I sew the block together. Hurray ~ Kathy D |

I found that I needed to do each piece in each block separate, one piece at a time. I am somewhat of a perfectionist so I want to make sure my points are perfect. I sew, iron, trim, then start again with the next piece. ~ Melanie P. |

I like to use the plastic tubs that my lettuce mix and spinach come in from the grocery store to store my projects in. They come in various sizes, have a lid, I can see the project inside and I am recycling too! ~ Janet M.

I am really excited about the Spring Fling BOM. Have several projects going, so everything for SF is stored in a pizza box marked "SF", unfinished blocks, finished blocks, scraps, etc. This makes it so easy when I can look at the stack of boxes and know exactly which one to pull out. They store very neatly. ~ Thanks, Jerry |

I use a 3 ring binder and sheet protectors to keep all my blocks, left over fabric, and pattern. I use a sheet protector as a pocket to put the blocks in and if the notebook has a pocket I use the zip bag for the leftover fabric. Karina |

Just wanted to say I have used THANGLE'S for years to make perfect half square triangles. If you haven't tried them, give them a chance. You can find them at most local quilt shops! ~ Gayle S.
