Dear Jane 2012 - 80" Square

Want to make a Dear Jane quilt but find yourself intimidated with fabric selection? Find yourself struggling to figure out how to put the patterns found in the Dear Jane book together? This program is for you! Each month you will receive fabric AND INSTRUCTIONS for 10 quilt blocks.
One of the difficulties with a Dear Jane quilt is finding the right technique. With our quilt program, a suggested technique and instruction will be provided for each quilt block. Let us know if you need the book

Midnight Roses- 56" Square

With nine beautiful Rose of Sharon blocks from an international block challenge - Midnight Roses includes designs from three countries - Italy, Canada, and the United States. Women of the Bible - 60" x 102"

While participating in a bible study, Quilt designer, Carol Honderich, found a way to meld two passions: her love for God and her love of quilting.  The result; a quilt inspired by 52 women of the bible.  Traditional blocks are used to associate with each woman based on her name, circumstances, or personality.  Each block is unique, and like the women they represent, these blocks suggest you consider them individually. 

The lovely grapevine border is appliqué. Some of the
6” blocks are appliqué and some are pieced.  You can hand or machine stitch all of the parts.  This quilt truly is a journey, which will allow you the opportunity to learn and grow.

We love Dear Jane in all colors! In March 2010, we attended the Dallas Quilt Celebration, where we found this beautiful Dear Jane quilt made by Mary Lou Strohm in various shades of red. It's so stunning, we just knew we needed to offer it. So, if you've ever wanted to make a red Jane Stickle Quilt, but found yourself intimidated with fabric selection, this program is for you! Each month you will receive fabric AND INSTRUCTION for 10 blocks. One of the difficulties with this quilt is finding the right technique. William Morris Sampler - 64" Square

William Morris led the Arts and Crafts movement of the late nineteenth century. The arts and crafts movement was made up of English designers and writers who started a return to well-made, handcrafted goods as a competition to poor quality machine-made items. Morris set up his own company with fellow artists called Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co in 1861, (later just Morris & Co), which produced everything for interior decorating from furniture and textiles to wallpaper and jewelry. This beautiful quilt features blocks based on the many flowers and patterns that can be found on some of the wallpapers and textiles designed by William Morris from the 1870's to the 1890's. It is a 13 block sampler quilt, and is set on point and bordered by an ornate design. This is a project for both the beginner and advanced quilters, and the applique can be completed by hand or machine.
