First Saturday Sampler - the $5 Quilt - Sessions are Full

The name of our 2008 First Saturday Sampler program is Triple Treat and is a fun way to make a sampler quilt. This program is quite different from what we have offered in the past as there are two distinct ways to complete these quilts as shown in the photos. You can choose your favorite setting. As with all of our previous First Saturday Sampler programs, you purchase the first block. Each month if you return with the completed block from the last meeting, we will give you your next block free! Attend each meeting with your finished block and you will have 12 blocks at the end of the year for $5. At each meeting we will give you updates on new products, a demonstration of a tool or new technique, and a rundown of the class options coming up for you. NOTE: You can only pick up your block on the first Saturday of each month! We will be offering you 3 fabric choices:

We invite you to join us to do as many of these fabric choices as you want but only one will be in the “free” program. If you select more than one fabric choice, you will pay the block fee for that fabric choice each month which is still a great deal! When you register you will need to let us know if you want a finishing kit. These will be distributed prior to the May meeting. Registration opens December 1 and will end January 30, 2008. Our first First Saturday Sampler meeting for 2008 will be the first Saturday in March. We will have 2 sessions: 10:00AM and 2:00PM.

Apron Alley Club

Aprons are the rage these days and we just love them! Join us the first Thursday of each month to make a new apron from one of the many patterns available. These aprons are great to wear around the house doing housework (right...) as well as a unique idea for gift giving. Stop by and see our display to get some ideas!

Quilt Divas

Our Quilt Divas are a wonderful group of ladies who meet to have lots of fun! Each month they meet, sew, eat, and laugh together. Some work on the Diva's Special Project, and some bring their own. Come join in on the adventure.

Tablerunner Time Club

If you are the kind of person that loves to make small projects, you will love this club. Dotti meets with you the 3rd Monday of each month to help you put together a beautiful project that will not only provide you with something you can be proud of but will also teach you various techniques that you can use over and over again.

Embroidery Sisters Club

Join Lucy the 3rd Friday of each month to explore and learn your embroidery machine. This is a fun group and all types of embroidery machine owners are welcome.

Note: It is a prerequisite for this club that you know how to use your machine.

Embroidery Club

This is a great bunch of ladies, and Miss Kathy keeps them busy! Each month they meet to compare notes and show off their latest masterpiece! They also have a new project and sew until they can take no more.
