This is a quilting retreat that is sure to delight your senses! If you want to feel invigorated and renewed, make plans to join us and your sewing friends at this one-of-a-kind event joining two of our favorite things - spa and sewing.  Retreats always result in making new friends so come with someone you know or plan to attend by yourself.  Brookhaven Retreat Center is located just 18 short miles from the shop.

The Rooms...

Stay in lovely and spacious rooms, each uniquely decorated in Texas Casual Elegance. All of the rooms are very nice and clean. This time we are offering only double occupancy ... no one shares a bed and no one sleeps on a top bunk! Brookhaven Retreat Center has a main center that has a large wrap-around porch overlooking a beautiful lake for you to sit back and enjoy the view.

The Retreat Center...

The retreat center is set up in such a way that you will have access to the sewing rooms as late in the evening as you want to stay up and sew and you don’t have to worry about disturbing anyone.  There are 2 very large lodge style auditoriums for us to use so we will have ample sewing space and no one will need to share a sewing table! However, they are not easily handicap accessible. If you have any special needs, please call us. We may be able to put you in a room that is more accessible for your special needs.

The Mystery...

Special instructors will help you through our Debbie Caffrey mystery class!   We will have fabric kits available in 3 color/fabric choices or you can feel free to bring fabric with you from your stash. Fabric for the mystery class is not included in your registration fee.  When you register we do need you to indicate "yes" or "no" if you want to take the mystery class while you are at the retreat and whether you will be bringing your own fabric or plan to use one of our selections (SEE BELOW).

Whether you choose to sew on your own projects, or participate in our Debbie Caffrey Mystery Quilt class, we will have Lucy teach you how to make a really neat item that you are sure to love.  Fabric for this class will be included in your package price.  Feel free to bring your own projects from home to work on as well as we will have LOTS of free sewing time! 

NOTE: Let us know when you register if you wish to participate in the Mystery Quilt Class and if you want a kit.

While you are with us we will meet each night at the store for some incredible fun. You won't want to miss a single night because there will be surprise shopping specials just for you.  Included will be...

ORPHAN BLOCK CHALLENGE 

We will maill your pack of 6 "orphan blocks" that were left over from a block of the month program from past Stitchin' Heaven programs. We will ask you to take these blocks and make them into something beautiful. Not everyone will get the same block, so they're guaranteed to be different and unique. At the retreat these projects will be put on display and the participants at the retreat as well as the employees at Stitchin' Heaven will vote on their favorite. A $100 shopping spree will be awarded to the winner.

SPA OPTIONS

We will have some of the finest massage therapists and estheticians in the area on hand to provide spa services during your stay at the retreat. Your personal Spa Choices must be made in advance, and are not included in your retreat package. Services offered are as followed:

• 60 minute full-body massage: $80
• 30 minute massage: $50
• Clinical Facial: $80
• Spa Facial: $65

NOTE:  We need to know when you register if you want to participate in these options so don't forget to tell us your wishes!  

RETREAT PRIZES

We have become famous for our retreat prizes and this retreat will be no different! For each $10 you spend in the store during your stay with us you will be given a ticket that will be entered in a drawing for some really fantastic prizes. Our grand prize will be a beautiful quilt, fully quilted, even with the binding on it! We are sure you will be very pleased!

Fall 2010 Refunds : We must be notified by January 31, 2010, if you cannot attend to give you a full refund. If you find out after January 31, 2010, you cannot attend we will do our best to find someone to take your place so that your fee can be returned to you.

Ahoy, quilters! We are so excited to offer this wonderful quilting cruise to the Caribbean. In partner with Cruises by Al & Pat Magee, and Texas Quiltworks, we hope to give you the time of your life while you cruise the seas, and quilt in style aboard Carnival's cruise ship, the Conquest. Please note: To attend quilt classes and participate in the activities, you must book the quilting cruise on Stitchin' Heaven web site or with Cruises by Al & Pat Magee directly.

Join us for a 7-Day Western Caribbean Cruise featuring 3 well-known quilting teachers: Trish Stuart, Debbie Maddy, and Sara Moe. We will depart from Galveston, Texas on February 21, 2010, then travel to Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. During your 3 fun days at sea, you'll be 'entertained' with quilting classes, sewing, and the many fun activities aboard the ship.
