The lodges are broken into three separate villages. Each village consists of one main lodge and two smaller lodges. Each village also comes with its own central fire pit with seating to accommodate the entire village. Oh my! There are two chefs on staff at Allaso Ranch. One chef is a graduate of the legendary Cordon Bleu Culinary School and the other received her training from the Mariott organization. The chef and team at Allaso Ranch are committed to preparing wholesome, made-from-scratch meals that will be the talk of any culinary magazine. Made with Texas Ranch flair, the food at Allaso Ranch is all natural, organic where possible, healthy and full of flavor. There is no denying the menus are creative and unique to Allaso Ranch. Not only will you find the meals a feast and a delight to the senses you will have access to a coffee/tea/snack area that is open 24/7 as well as a coffee bar where you can order up some flavored coffee drinks or specialty teas. One evening we will go to the fire pit, sit around the campfire and make old fashioned S’mores just like we used to do at youth camp. Every meal will be anticipated and
no one will go away hungry!
Beginning with the September 2010 retreat, we will have a mystery quilt pattern for you designed exclusively for our Sew ‘n Spa retreats by Debbie Caffrey, of Debbie’s Creative Moments. Debbie is a genius at developing mystery quilt patterns that are interesting, creative, and beautiful. Every participant will receive the pattern but that’s not all. During the retreat we will provide a facilitator to guide you through the process of making the quilt. But there is still more – we will also offer a Mystery Fabric Kit for those of you who really don’t want to choose your fabric. After all, we know what the quilt looks like! Please make your Mystery Fabric Kit selection when you register so we will be able to plan how much fabric to order.
Note: Debbie Caffrey will NOT be teaching at this event
2010 Fall Mystery Quilt Colorways.
Don't forget the fabric requirements and cutting instructions!

There is a unique “health building” at Allaso Ranch that is just perfect for our spa treatments. NOTE: We need to know when you register if you want to participate in these options so don't forget to tell us your wishes!
The Villages at Allaso Ranch are not connected to the Worship Center where we will be sewing and dining. The walk to the lodging is not a great distance – we would estimate it at 100 yards or so. For most this walk is a good thing (especially after some of the food we will be eating) but for some the walk might be uncomfortable. As an option we are offering to provide golf carts. These carts can be rented one of three ways:
- Share with 4 people - $67.50
- Share with 2 people - $135.00
- Private cart - $270.00
NOTE: If you choose to share a cart with 3 other people we are leaving the coordination of "who will have the cart" up to the 4 who share it. You must be considerate of the needs of those who you are sharing with when taking the cart back and forth to the Lodge.
If you want a golf cart, please tell us when you register.
