Beginning Quilting with Dotti
Do you want to learn to quilt but you’re not quite sure where to begin? This class is for you! We all need to start at the beginning with quilting because you want to learn what to do the right way to avoid frustration and extra expense. Dotti will guide you step-by-step through the process of making a quilt from fabric selection to binding techniques.
You will learn:
- The importance of color and fabric selection
- The tools you need and how to properly use them
- How to achieve and maintain a quarter-inch seam
- Pressing tips and tricks
- All about batting and how to put your quilt together

Stack A New Deck
Get ready to go beyond Crazy quilts with the Four Ss-stack, slice, shuffle, and sew. In this class you learn to stack fabric squares into “decks” and slice them into wonderful shapes, curved or straight. Then shuffle the pieces and sew them back together again to make truly unique quilt.

Strip Club
Join us each month if you are a stripper! We will offer a quilt each month that you can make using 2 1/2" strips. Best thing is they're cut for you! Kits are available, which include your strips and a pattern. Borders and background are purchased separately. Sew with other strippers one day each month in our classroom (no additional fee) or take yours home and strip in private.

Class Policy
All class fees are $25 unless otherwise specified. If you sign up for a class, and are not able to make the class, we ask that you let us know at least 5 days in advance to have your class fees reimbursed.
When you register for a class, please know that we do require a minimum of 4 participants for each class. If there are not at least 4 participants, we will contact you and let you know that the class has been cancelled as soon as possible.
